I am an Associate Lecturer teaching on the Open University's MSc Development Management programme, and I am the Glasgow School of Art's Learning Enhancement Co-ordinator, responsible for the strategic and operational support of Learning & Teaching, as well as staff & educational development.

I was awarded a PhD in International Relations at the University of Kent in 2006. My research focuses on the role of the UN Secretary-General, ideas and practices, and democracy assistance.
