Timm has held various jobs and has various interests. Including these has been his interest in global politics, which lead him to participate in the National Model United Nations Conferences in 2001 and 2002. He speaks several languages, including English, French, German, Russian, and Spanish. He currently studies at FEMA's Emergency Management Institute. He also works at the Superior Court of California where he works to achieve understanding and ease of procedure for both staff and litigants.
